Her practice focuses on all aspects of commercial and residential real-estate, representing individuals, small businesses, large companies in complex sale and lease transactions. Ms. Duffy also has extensive experience representing health care related entities and businesses of all sizes in a wide range of general corporate and governance matters and commercial transactions. In addition, Ms. Duffy has represented a numerous public entities in a variety of commercial transactions and governmental affair matters.
From 1995 to 1998, Ms. Duffy was a corporate counsel for AT&T Capital Corporation, where she concentrated on the leasing and financing of large telecommunications and point-of-sale hardware and software to public and private entities throughout the United States.
Ms. Duffy began her legal career in 1988 as an associate at Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Perretti, where her primary area of practice was in public finance. During her seven-year tenure there, Ms. Duffy represented state agencies and financing authorities, local agencies and municipalities, and quasi-public entities in the public and private offerings of tax-exempt and taxable debt.
Ms. Duffy sat on both the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment for town of Westfield, NJ. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
