Before joining the firm, Mr. Notarangelo was an associate at a regional defense firm, where he represented businesses in high-stakes civil matters, including product liability and toxic tort actions, handled complex commercial litigation matters, and defended businesses and individuals from claims of negligence, including premises liability, motor vehicle liability, construction accidents, and construction defects. There, Mr. Notarangelo gained substantial experience litigating in the Law Division and Appellate Division:
- Secured emergency injunctive relief leading to quick resolution of disputed ownership and successful return of business’s personal property
- Won summary judgment for a product manufacturer in a subrogation action stemming from an alleged defective product
- Won summary judgment for clients faced with near million dollar demands in multiple product defect actions alleging failure to warn of the hazards of clients’ products
- Served as local counsel for clients involved in a national pharmaceutical multi-district litigation, working with national counsel in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania cases
- Successfully defended an appeal of summary judgment arising from a premise liability claim
- Secured dismissal of professional negligence claims against an engineer arising from a demolition accident
Mr. Notarangelo began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Vincent Le Blon, J.S.C., Law Division, in Middlesex County. During law school, he was a member of The Catholic University Law Review and served as a Notes and Comments Editor. Mr. Notarangelo is admitted to the practice of law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania as well as in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
